I recommend the cleaning kit 100% but, keep the cardboard box it comes in as the plastic carry case comes apart far too easily to withstand carrying in a gun bag. The case does have a few spare compartments, in which I have added my pull .22 through with space for another (like a 177 pull through). If the case was a bit more reliable, 5 stars easily.

To be fair, there is a label warning the user against pushing too hard. However, I wasn't expecting it to break in the first use. The brush head for the .177 went through easily but the cloth heading had to be shaved by about 25% to get it past the landings. One slight lateral movement and the warning hit home. Anyway, it's a lovely set, the 22 heads were all in proportion to barrel dimensions, buy the 177 was a failure and now I have a lovely but broken cleaning set. Brass is probably the worst material to use at the diameter required for the 177 heads, so heed the warning label and consider shaving the 177 cloth head down by 30 or 40%.
